When Pranav started saying legible words, I started making a list of words that he said. It started at the time when he was around 10 months, and boy, wasn't I prompt in updating the list every time he said a word! However, he soon started picking up words at the rate of around 3-4 new words per day, I lost track and it became a tough job updating the sheet. Now, at 1 year and 11 months, he can make really long sentences and can have a good conversation with you. Oh, by 'you' I mean the people he is comfortable with. He is still very very anti-social, and does not become friends with strangers easily. I am just hoping that this would get better once he starts school.
Anyway, when he first started speaking, he used to say 'gagga' for doggy and 'diss' for bus, and had many many words like these only people who interacted with him regularly would understand. Now that he says almost all words like how we would say them, I have realized that I terribly miss hearing him saying 'gagga...' ..
Though I am really happy and proud of his vocabulary, here are some words of his that I am going to miss:
Gagga - Doggy
ചന്തീന്തി - ചമ്മന്തി :)
പായി - പാല്
Battaathi - Butterfly
കൊഗു - കൊതുക്
പാഹു - ഭസ്മം
Diss - Bus
