Ammu had visited us last weekend for her Nanyang B School Interview. Kunju was, thankfully, friends with her and she was thoroughly entertained by him. Revu had come home on Sunday and we all went to Hanging Gardens (Malabar Hills) in the evening.
So here's an excerpt from the MMS that Ammu had sent us.
So today's MMS is about the second part of my mumbai trip - about a little amma ottippi fellow who taught me that there exists in the world a car called ertiga. :/
I have to confess, I was totally unprepared for the fact that this fellow had already grown up to be one kathi well worthy of our family - you'll know what I mean when I say revu and I faced stiff competition in making ourselves heard. :D
And ivanu valuthaayi oru school teacher aavan Ella yogyathayum ippozhe undu. Everytime we get in/out of the car, he calls attendance:
Achan evide?
Ammuchitta..?
Ammayi..?
Of course no mention of athiroppol, coz he's already in her hands. :)
In fact, his devotion to his mom is absolute. To him, his world is his mom - she is anything and everything. To illustrate further:
Athiroppol: Kunju, lokathe ettavum valya sundari aara?
Kunju: Ammaaaaa.
Surajettan's Achan: Kunju, Indiayude pradhana mantri aara?
Kunju: Ammaaaaa.
:D
And then there are the songs:
Kunju, playing with a toy car, sings to self:
"The wheels on the car go round and round, round and round"
Picks up a toy autorickshaw:
"The wheels on the autorickshaw go round and round, round and round"
Picks up a toy garbage disposal truck (yes u heard right - garbage disposal truck. Somebody somewhere thought that would be a perfect vehicle to make into a toy for 2 yr olds. He also has a concrete mixer toy. Go figure. :/ )
"The wheels on the waste vandi go round and round, round and round"
So as u can see, I had quite the awesome time with this lil fellow. Attached r pics from when we took him to the park - as expected, he ran all around, got his hands all dirty and muddy, refused to stay still long enough to be photographed and chased after other kids and their balls, while gleefully ignoring his own. :p. ( Get your Mind out of the gutter ppl.. :D. )

Btw.. Did u know this lil fellow could tell u that the color of that grey top ur wearing, is not grey but ASH??? :/.
